1. My kid is the best thing. 

 

Starting with a photo of what I am most grateful for seemed like an obvious choice. This is my two year old, Finley Mae Sullivan. In addition to being utterly grateful for this extraordinary little being, I am also just so thankful that I happened to recognize the significance that this image had, as it naturally presented itself while I was simply obliging what was a constant request of hers at the time, for mama or anyone who would humor her to ...."draw. blue. shaak"

She is my "Fin" 

 

An extension of myself which steers and stabilizes me, while giving me the ability to

maintain my balance as it lifts and propels me in a constant, forward motion.
